The Hollywood Heritage Museum building is the restored Lasky-DeMille Barn, a California State Historic Landmark originally built in 1895. In this building you will find archival photographs from the silent movie days of motion picture production, movie props, historic documents and other movie related memorabilia. It is the perfect venue to discover the history of not only the beginning of the film industry, but the origin and subsequent advancements in the scientific research of paranormal phenomena leading to today. The property has ample on-site parking and the building is air conditioned with modern amenities.
Your Host
Your host, Bill Murphy and Anita McMillan-Murphy, presented in 2012 the results of The Pearl Experiment that was intended to test the theory of thought form manifestation. Inspired by The Philip Experiment that was conducted in Toronto, Canada; the goal was to investigate if physical evidence of a fictitious personality could be recorded. The result was a photograph that continues to astonish all who examine the case known as The Pearl Experiment. At this event you will meet and hear from a member of the Canadian team that worked with the original group responsible for Philip that ultimately led to the test that resulted in Pearl. The material that will be presented at this event will cover a timeline spanning from the late 1800’s to today.

Levitation and Psychokinesis
Walter Meyer zu Erpen is a founding director and the current President of the Survival Research Institute of Canada (SRIC). The SRIC is a registered charity, incorporated federally within Canada for the purpose of studying whether human consciousness survives physical death in spirit form and is able to communicate with the living.
Walter Meyer zu Erpen graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with degrees in history and archival studies. Following a public service career in archives administration for the British Columbia government, he works now as an archives consultant.
From 1998-2010, Walter participated in a private group that documented psychokinetic phenomena that included the rocking, lifting, and pivoting of a sturdy wooden table. Walter will share with us details of those experiences, as well as examples of the historic photographic evidence of table phenomena. Their activities, which include Walter’s participation, were featured in the Canadian TV documentary Conjuring Philip as part of psychical researcher Iris Owen’s retelling of how her Toronto-based research group created “Philip,” an imaginary ghost, during the 1970s.
Walter works to raise awareness of the Psychical Research Archives Endowment Fund through the University of Manitoba USA Foundation – donations eligible for 501c receipts. – This foundation strives to preserve the research of all the people that have been documenting psi phenomena over many decades.
Walter was the featured historian that appeared in the Ectoplasmic Pic episode of Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files during season 2 that aired on the SyFy Network.

Remote Viewing
Mike Rogalski served in USAF in communications troubleshooting and repairs and has designed and installed audio systems for large technical facilities.
Mike also worked as a TV and radio studio engineer for 14 years including satellite broadcast design for worldwide simultaneous distribution. Continuing his career as a location recording engineer, Mike became a Telemetry Recording Engineer for NASA’s Dryden Flight Test Facility and fiber optics system designer.
His electronics training through the USAF started a lifetime of electronics education, which formed a highly logical mind. He states that his training is “totally contrary to psychic functioning”, but his curiosity in UFO phenomena fueled an interest in psychic ability, which led to the field of Remote Viewing. Mike learned all available modes and methods of Remote Viewing as it is presently taught by the various experts. Mike's methodology takes the best of all worlds, and combines them into the most comprehensive approach to the skill set.
Mike has been teaching Remote Viewing for three years in a club he established which now has 135 members and three locations for monthly meetings. Remote Viewing is the practice of seeking impressions about unseen objects using extrasensory perception (ESP). Remote Viewing was popularized in the 1990’s following the declassification of documents related to the Stargate Project, a $20 million research program sponsored by the US Government.
Mike will share the methods and techniques in an interactive process so all attendees will have an opportunity to participate in an actual remote viewing session.

The Ganzfield Experiment
Nate Early is an aspiring film maker and also is a paranormal enthusiast who is producing a television pilot focused on the science of the supernatural. He will be leading a Ganzfeld Experiment during this event that all attendees are welcome to participate in. The methods include partial sensory deprivation along with limited uniform stimuli. The result is an induced landscape of amplified neural noise in which the brain looks for missing visual signals. This triggers the visual cortex to provide information that the subject of the experiment uses to form impressions that would otherwise be provided through normal sights and sounds. Parapsychologist began experimenting with this method beginning in the 1930’s although the practice dates back to ancient Greek times (500 B.C.) when Pythagoras and his followers would retreat into pitch black caves to receive wisdom through internalized visions.
In a modified version of the Ganzfeld Experiment, pairs of participants will attempt use this method to transfer information from one to the other without using any of the five conventional senses.
